Life has been a bit challenging, but Christy manages to stay above water. Her parents split early in life and her dd has recently entered back into her life some decades later. She runs through relationships like a 5k run. Her oldest friend, Tre, and her job has been the only consistent things in her life. Tre is her sounding board that she trusts and runs everything by, whether she takes his advise or not. She’s a team leader in a call center, who wants to make a career move and a change of scenery from Chicago. She has no inspiration to make the move until she runs into an old high school crush who helps to make the decision much easier.

Entering the world as Makeithra “Ketra” Parrish, known to her parents Stanley and Princess Parrish from Chapel Hill, NC has been acting for more than 20 years. Through marriage to Gregory Evens Sr. she has since then become Mrs. Evans. Makeithra is the mother of a blended family of 3 boys Greg Jr., Jamal, Hakeem, 3 girls, Erica, Ceniya, Cecilia and 2 wonderful grandsons Antonio and Romance. Highly experienced in the genres of drama, suspense and action, her diverse acting portfolio of realistic and touching leading roles just to name a few have included parts in “Actions Speak Louder Than Words”, “Rising Out of the Ashes”, “Preacher and the Prostitute”, “Coming Out Big and No More Drama… Relationships”, a play written by her pastor. In 2011 she graced the stage in the hit play “Marry Me Again” written and directed by Christoper McCray where she was casted and was an assistant director. Fortunately; in 2016 by popular demand she returned to the stage once again as Kimberly Hitman under the directorship of Melissa “Wade In The Waters” Productions. Makeithra also had the opportunity to be a part of a motion picture “But Deliver Us From Evil” in 2015 written and directed by Joshua Coats earning IMDB credits which is due to be released in October 2017. Currently, she is working on a project in Holly Springs, NC as a lead character in first time ever stage play entitled “Finding Patiences” written and directed by Angie Staheli. It’s a story told by a freed slave by the name of “Patience” about the history and development of the town called Holly Springs. Also, on March 22, 2017 she can also be seen in an upcoming television series entitled “Shots Fired” airing on 20th Century Fox. Given the opportunity to be a part of this world changing team Sweet Pea Production has never been so exciting. I’m looking forward to acting alongside these amazing actors and actresses in “A Matter of Heart” because I know this is only the beginning. Beautiful inside and out, this 5 food 6 actress still continues to leave audiences in awe and has no intentions on slowing down.
